For more info on Stevie please refer to page 32 of the AQHA Magazine (May 2008 edition).

"Stevie" was bred by R & R Rose at Stanwell QLD.  He has been passed through a few hands during his life but we purchased him in December 2005 & he is now guaranteed to stay with us for the remainder of his time. In 2006 (at age 15) Stevie made it into the final top 10 qualifiers for Barrel Racing at the Aust. Professional Rodeos of Warwick & Mt Isa (the largest rodeo in the southern hemosphere). He was also awarded the AQHA highest point scoring Sporting horse for 2006/07.

"Oakie" is 14.2 hands & has AQHA Points for Halter, Sporting events & reining. His sire is PLAYING TO STYLE. We purchased him a couple of years ago, he was extremely quiet but not fast enough to make an Open Barrel Horse out of him. He was still young and his gorgeous nature made him worth his weight in gold. He has recently been competing in Stockman's Challenges & Gymkhanas throughout the district. He has also been used by learners at our local Pony Club. With his carefree attitude, he is a treasure!

RIP

We purchased Ritchie (Q60048) when he was 11 months old. This photo is taken at 19 months, he was put down not long after. He was a "true gentleman" & a pleasure to have around. We were not made aware of his HYPP possible status until we tried to register him as a colt. Unfortunately,  we then found out that he continued his father's genetics & was diagnosed N/H (HYPP Positive). This was not a concern to us as he was perfect in every way. However, when the collapses began to occur we realised it was cruel keeping him alive & we would never be able to ride him in fear of a collapse (with no warning he would land on his side & be paralised for various lengths of time). From this sad & terrible experience we have learnt one thing... We will stay away from HYPP! Please refer to the Links page for more information.
